What Aries Rising means
With Aries rising, people meet your energy before they meet your words. You come across as direct, quick and a little restless — someone who walks in, sizes up the situation and acts. There's often a sporty, alert quality to how you carry yourself, and you tend to look younger than your age.
Your instinct with anything new is to jump in and figure it out on the way. That makes you a natural starter and a strong presence in a crisis, but it can also make you seem more combative than you feel inside. Mars, your chart ruler, sets the tone for your whole chart — its sign and house show where that drive is aimed.
