How accurate is my birth chart?

Astra uses the Swiss Ephemeris — the same astronomical calculation library professional astrologers use. With your birth date, time and city, placements are accurate to arc-minutes. If you don't know your birth time, we cast a solar chart and you can add the time later to unlock your Rising sign and houses.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Accepted Answer

No problem — most of your chart doesn't move much in a day. We'll cast a solar chart (noon) so everything works immediately; only your Rising sign and house placements wait until you add your birth time. You can update it anytime from your account page.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — Astra is an installable web app (PWA). From your phone's browser, tap 'Add to Home Screen' and it behaves exactly like a native app: full screen, offline shell, its own icon. No app store download needed, and your account syncs automatically.

Every answer is generated with your actual chart, your defining natal aspects and the live transits hitting your chart right now in context — so it can explain why something is happening, not just that it is. It remembers your past questions and the themes you keep returning to, connects patterns across months, and frames everything as tendencies and windows rather than fixed predictions.

Is my birth data private?

Your data lives in your own account, protected by row-level security — no one else can read it, and we never sell personal data. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

Can I cancel Premium anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription yourself from the account page via the Stripe billing portal — no emails, no calls, no retention tricks. You keep Premium until the end of your paid period.
